Internships

Getting started in a career is never easy. Each summer, we try to help by employing a number of high school and college students in our production, feed manufacturing and other operation systems. As an intern you’ll spend 10 – 12 weeks learning all aspects of the area in which you are working, as well as receiving an orientation to the entire company. If you’re interested in agriculture, this is a great opportunity for you to gain familiarity with a world-class swine industry operation.

Benefits for Full-time Employees

  • Health, medical and dental insurance: several insurance packages are available to employees and their dependents.
  • Life insurance: employee, family and optional life insurance plans are available.
  • Leave: includes holiday and funeral leave, plus graduated accrual of days based on length of employment.
  • 401(k): a percentage of employee contributions from annual base earnings are matched by the company. (This is separate from the pension plan.)
  • Tuition reimbursement: percentage of tuition paid for by the company, contingent upon academic score.
